As 2015 draws to a close, and 2016 is right around the corner… I thought I’d take a moment to reflect on year. It was a very successful year, and full of great memories, clients and weddings.
2015 started off with an engagement proposal I had the privilege of planning. Hansey wanted a romantic dinner for 2 with a view to remember. Prairie 360 was the perfect location and were so easy to work with. Of course Yaki said YES! to Hansey, and the evening was very romantic with candles, rose petals and a fabulous pianist.
My husband and I bought our first home in the spring, and were very excited to move into our new home, and set up my new office and our home.
Jenny and Harlyn was a fun couple to work with! They had their wedding at the MET in downtown Winnipeg, and their theme was Great Gatsby! Their wedding was a lot of fun, the decor was rich and glittery, and they were a dream to work with! And lets not forget that gorgeous cake!
Tyler and Chantel had an elegant backyard wedding which was hosted on Tyler’s parents property. The weather was perfect, although a bit hot… but the personal touches really came through like the guitar guestbook that was Chantel’s childhood guitar. The food was delicious, and the day was memorable. *Photos courtesy of Brad Pretula Photography*
Jessica and Grant celebrated their wedding at the Centennial Concert Hall. The grey and cranberry color scheme they chose worked so well with the venue. It was definitely a very unique venue, and a very special day. *please note, these photos were taken with my own camera*
I had the pleasure of vising the Lindt Chocolate store in Winnipeg, and still can’t get over the variety of chocolate flavors!
This was my second time participating in the Beyond Weddings Expo held in Steinbach, Manitoba. It was great meeting with so many brides, and I cannot wait until the next show in November 2016!
And let’s not forget the release of Pantone’s color(s) of 2016!
2015 was an amazing year, and I can’t wait to see what 2016 has in store for us! Wishing you a very happy new year, and best wishes for a memorable 2016!
